Outstanding by far... not the biggest... but one of the better... staff is great and the food is also... on top of that they will make it how you want and is also special diet friendly... we have been here twice... and plan for more.... special note have the Hot and Sour Soup... by the gallon if you can... best all around town treat.

Here is a nice Chinese restaurant with a wide selection of items at a very affordable price!  I got a pot of green tea, a spring roll, a bowl of Egg Drop soup, and an entree of Sweet and Sour Pork for under $10 (excl tip).  Nice sized portions that were perfect for lunch (and some might want a to go box).

The tea was piping hot and was served in a large pot.  (I didn't finish!)

The egg roll was crisp and hot and had a nice taste.  I didn't ask, but this wasn't like the all veggie egg rolls I've had elsewhere....It looked like it had some meat inside.  Good flavor, but it could use some dipping sauce (I used some of my sweet and sour sauce from my entree.)

The egg drop had an orange color which surprised me since I am used to it being yellow at most of the restaurants I've had it.  The flavor was good and I couldn't discern any spice that affected the color.  The green onions on top were fragrant and definitely gave the soup a savory depth.

The pork was breaded before frying and was topped with the sauce after cooking.  The pineapple chunks were good and the green pepper chunks were served raw instead of sauteed.  Different from most places I've been, but sweet enough not to detract from the flavor.  I went with the noodles as a side instead of rice.  They were light and not too filling.

The waitress was hustling to keep up with all the customers since she was managing the register as well.  She did a great job and had a pleasant attitude the entire time I was there.  She even managed to chat a bit with regulars of which there seemed to be a high percentage of guests in that category.

I was able to easily place my order, dine, and check out in what would be a lunch hour for working folks.

We are new to the area so asked around for a good Chinese restaurant and Hong Kong Restaurant was recommended.  The hostess was friendly and we were seated right away.  The restaurant was cozy and there was a pretty good lunch crowd.

The first thing we noticed was the prices for the lunch specials.  They were less expensive than going to any fast food place.  My wife got the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice.  She also ordered an egg roll.  She is very picky about her egg rolls and she gave this one a huge thumbs up.  She considered ordering another one it was so good.  The sweet and sour chicken was typical Chinese fare but she did not care for the rice.  She likes her rice with onions and vegetables and thought the rice was kind of bland.

I had the Pepper Steak lunch entree and the BBQ Pork appetizer.  The pepper steak was great and will be a repeated order in the future.  The BBQ pork was in a brown sauce and although good didn't taste like barbecue sauce.

The service was good, the food was served shortly after we ordered and the price didn't break the bank.  We will go back and bring the kids. They have chicken tenders and French fries on the menu so even our granddaughter could order something she likes.

I wished I didn't stop here. I originally pulled in to go to the Italian place next door. Seen Chinese and thought let's try it . The only thing I liked was the sweet tea. Mom and I love to share crab rangoon we couldn't eat it. Tasted kinda sour and the crust tasted smoky or gassy. I ordered chicken garlic really didn't have much flavor and was dark brown which I have never had it look this way. Almost like a beef flavor I'm not sure.  I tried to eat the chicken out of it. We will not be back.

Hong Kong is fantastic.  I get the feeling that this is a family operated restaurant.

I've had a variety of different dishes and they all carry a high level of attention to detail and quality taste!  As with most Chinese restaurants: it's not the most luxurious of interiors.  However, the friendly staff and excellent food keep me coming back.
